    Description

    The Hashimoto HC-507U is designed for applications which require 5K or 7K Ohms primary with up to 20Watts output level into 4, 8, 16 Ohms.  The HC-507U has an Ultra-Linier tap for both 5K and 7k Ohms primary, and its frequency response covers between 30Hz and 45,000Hz (+-2db).  The HC-507U is suitable for single-ended applications that utilize popular vacuum tubes, such as 45, VT52, KT-66, 6BQ5, 6V6, 6F6 and 6L6-GC.
    Although the HC-507U is a covered type output transformer with an EI core, It sounds excellent due to the advanced winding techniques Hashimoto had inherited from the Sansui transformer department, which developed similar transformers used for the Sansui amplifiers and receivers.
    The HC-507U measures 90 (W) x 90 (D) x 83 (H) mm, and weighs 2.0Kg (4.4 LB).  Primary Inductance can be chosen between 20H/100mA (5K Ohms), 26H/80mA (7K Ohms).  The Maximum DC Current should be up to 100mA.
