If you are finding that your DSC system's wireless range of 500-600 feet radius isn't going to be enough then DSC has come up with a solution for you! The WS4920HE Wireless Repeater Module can extend the range of wireless one-way transmitters beyond the 500-600 feet distance that you normally get. It can also be used if the area that you're installing the system in has a high amount of electrical noise to help improve the transmission.
You can use up to 4 of these per system and they will take up a zone on the system , so keep that in mind. Not only will you have to enroll the zones in the system that you need the range extended on, but you will also have to enroll them in the repeater as well.
The WS4920HE includes a 16.5 VAC plug in power transformer as well as the rechargable backup battery. You will need 18ga 2 conductor wire for the connection from the repeater to the power transformer.
