  • Condition: Very RARE Variety Early Die State FS-301 WB-102 Re-Punched Blunder Date 1849/1849 50c graded & certified by PCGS AU details, cleaned, Seated Liberty Half Dollar is in razor sharp Lustrous AU/BU condition you can easily see from the photos! There is a mint made counter mark from rubber rollers, which can be seen on the obverse right field. They are NOT scratches, just a mint made counter mark, which doesn't take away the AMAZING eye appeal of this Truly RARE variety. Gorgeous Underlying Luster! This is a Holy Grail Find, and a most Rare Variety to obtain in the Seated Half Series. Very Sharp Variety Indicator! Lower portions of all four secondary digits are easily seen. Very attractive. I believe PCGS thought the counter mark was cleaning. I think this is an AU-53, Almost Uncirculated Coin. You buy the coin, not the holder. I tried to capture in the beauty of this rare coin in the photos, But they just don't do it justice!! Looks much much better in hand! You will not be disappointed!
