The new VU level meter driver board is a perfect replacement for the discontinued TA-7318P driver IC. It has a better driving effect on the meter head, the needle swings quickly, and the response is sensitive, and the output signal is further increased on the basis of the 7318 circuit.
It can drive the meter head that cannot be driven by the previous 7318 circuit. The new style adds a wide range voltage regulator circuit, and the working performance is more stable.

Parameters:
1. Signal input: The driver board provides two signal input methods, you can choose one of them according to your situation! (Reminder: If the signal is taken at the back end of the volume potentiometer or at the output of the power amplifier, the pointer swing will be controlled by the volume potentiometer, that is, the pointer swings when the volume is large, and the pointer swing is small when the volume is small.)
① LOW, GND, LOW: These are the low-level signal input terminals of the driver board, which are used to connect the audio signals of CD players, computer sound cards, front-end devices, and other audio source equipment. When wiring, LOW, GND, and LOW correspond to: left, Ground and right channels are fine.
②HIGH, GND, HIGH: These are the high-level signal input terminals of the driver board, which are used to connect the power signal amplified by the power amplifier. The attenuation circuit set in the driver board will attenuate the high-intensity level output by the power amplifier and send it in Driver IC, the attenuation circuit contains the resistors R2 and R3 just mentioned. When connecting the output terminals of the power amplifier, the two HIGH terminals of the driver board are respectively connected to the two red binding posts of the power amplifier and the two black binding posts of the power amplifier. , Select any one of them to connect to the GND terminal of the driver board.
2. Drive output:V+, V-, terminals: This is the driver board for the meter backlight. Two sets of 12V backlight power output terminals are provided. Please pay attention to matching the voltage and the positive and negative directions of the meter light source when connecting.
+, -, terminal: This is the output terminal of the drive board drive meter, respectively connected to the "+" and "-" terminals of the two level meters. Pay attention to the positive and negative directions when connecting.
